We have weathered the storms of life together. We are always there for each other! And we always make each other laugh.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We both grew up in the same area of Houston and probably saw each other many times during those years. The first time we met each other was when he walked into the Ben Franklin "dime store" where I worked. He worked down the street at the Hardware store. We struck up a conversation and found that we had some mutual friends. We exchanged phone numbers and that lead to our first date. After a year of on and off dating we started dating steady for another 2 years before getting married in 1978.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? It's hard to narrow down one favorite memory. We took a trip to Hawaii about 12 years ago. We explored Kauai for a week and then went on a cruise around all the Hawaiian Islands. It was a wonderful trip of a lifetime for us.
What would you do with $20,000?Philip has been on long term disability after back and shoulder surgery. He has recovered from the surgeries and is planning to retire at the end of June. That amount of money would give us the freedom to be able to help our 3 sons and their families. We are blessed to have 6 grandchildren and another on the way. We would also like to travel again. Maybe another trip to Hawaii
