Connect How did your love story begin?

We met on Tinder at a time when neither of us expected forever. Philip, an active-duty service member fairly new to the area, wanted friendship & time to slowly build something real. Taylor, was more direct: either we were going to date or move on! Somewhere between his patience and her certainty, friendship became love. Through military life, commitment to faith, & new beginnings, God transformed us both. Today, we love the Lord, serve our local church, family, friends & community.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is traveling through the “Low Country” together (coastal SC and GA)—eating incredible food, exploring our ancestry, and learning about the people and places that shaped us. It culminated in a dusk walk through softly lit Savannah, surrounded by history and beauty. There was no grand event, just one of those rare moments when everything feels still and you realize the person walking beside you is both your greatest adventure and your home.

What would you do with $20,000?

As an active-duty military family, we know how quickly life can change and how valuable a strong foundation can be. We would use the $20,000 to help pay for our wedding celebration, pay down debt, and give a portion to the church that helped us grow in our faith and learn to serve together. It would allow us to celebrate our covenant with the people we love while beginning our next chapter with less weight, greater stability, and open hands.
