Our love story began on a freezing Thanksgiving Day in 2016 at the Alpha Phi Alpha House on 83rd & Western. Phil saw me and told his fraternity brother, "She's going to be my wife." After seven dates, I finally gave him that first kiss. I knew he was the one when he brought flowers for my mom at a family gathering. He stood strong through my father's passing, then proposed at Mastro's with my mom and son there. God had been writing our forever all along. I waited for my Boaz!

Our favorite memory was celebrating our anniversary in Bali. We rode elephants while reminiscing about our journey, fed monkeys, and released a baby sea turtle through a conservation program. Anything involving animals brings us joy! I'll always cherish when Phil surprised me with our first puppy, a Giant Schnauzer named Caesar. Those moments remind us our greatest adventures are the ones we share together.
