Connect How did your love story begin?

I saw a painting on Facebook and I left a comment of what I saw in the painting. I saw the potential life path for everyone. Oksana private messaged me thanking me for my interpretation which she was going for. Seeing her picture made me feel I was way over my skis. She was beautifully intimidating. Conversation grew from texts to phone. I helped her with a business issue she was having and when we met for her to sign those documents, it was over for both of us. Unexpected & intoxicating.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Tequila Sunrise. The afternoon we actually met led to an endless conversation about everything. It was getting late so she made dinner. I travelled locally with the components for my favorite drink, born from my time in the Navy with my friends before a deployment. I offered her a Tequila Sunrise, which she had never experienced. She loved it! And I told her the story behind it. She was shocked that I had the ingredients with me. Neither of us drink very much but then she asked to touch my hair.

What would you do with $20,000?

A much deserved vacation! Someplace tropical with great entertainment, food, and drink. That sounds like what everyone would say especially considering we all have a variety of fiery hoops of life to navigate. We all need a break from the world. Oksana has been around a few places and my Navy career took me to many foreign ports. We would go somewhere that neither of us have ever been to create a new story we've never told. As brand new Grandparents, this is such a time before that dam breaks!
