How did your love story begin?

After 2 weeks of flirting online he showed up at my door for an 11 am coffee date - in head to toe leather (and so was I). 26 hours, endless cups of coffee and countless stories went by like they were inconsequential. Two men, both over 6 foot 3, laughing, singing and acting like two old familiars who hadn't seen each other in decades. I fed him once, he never left and we haven't stopped talking since. That was almost 14 years ago.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Picture two grooms in full tuxedos, in line for the roller coaster at New York-New York in Vegas - having just pulled off two weddings to the same man, three weeks apart in two different cities, so both our families could be there. We're grinning like idiots, both thinking "are we really doing this?" I reached out and said, "hold my hand, it's going to get bumpy" - then squeezed so hard he almost cried. I have the photo to prove it. 14 years later, we're still holding on to each other tightly.

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly, we'd be smart about it. First, Alec handles the finances - and I'm happily okay with that, since I tend to have burning holes in my pockets. Second, after all the hard times and the good ones, we know the value of both treating yourself and planning ahead. So we'd probably bring our families together for the first time to make some new memories - maybe on a cruise - and save the rest for a rainy day.
