Best friends since college who despite teaching together and being together most of every day, still love each other. We laugh a lot!
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We met during college band camp. Rob liked me but I wanted to be friends. We studied together, met for meals, and talked late into the night every day. Finally, after many failed relationships, a girlfriend asked me when I was going to realize what everyone else did- Rob was the one and we were practically dating already! By this point I had turned him down so many times, I now had to pursue him! I confessed my feelings and we have been together ever since!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? In college I needed a car to get to student teaching but had little money. The cheapest car was a stick so Rob went with me to drive it home. He taught me how to drive it by standing behind me on a hill & telling me not to roll into him. I was so scared but he talked me through it & told me I could do it and obviously not wanting to run over him, I learned! He told me later he could have moved out of the way if needed but that was the start of our mutual trust & support- and crazy antics!
What would you do with $20,000?We would take our kids on a cruise! Our kids are grown and live on opposite coasts so treating them to a trip together would be a treat.
