Pam was 13 and was the candy girl at the movie theatre. I was 16 and was the usher. Our first spark was at a New Years Eve party while playing spin the bottle. As fate would have it, the bottle stopped over and over bringing our lips together on every turn. We were engaged in 1982 and married in 1985. We have been together for 48 years and married for 41. Our love gets stronger year after year and we think our relationship is special.

Our favorite memory as a couple is Pam beating breast cancer in Jan 2025. We celebrated by going to Las Vegas on a Get Well Tour. We saw the Eagles at the Sphere, Barry Manilow at the WestGate, the Princess Dianna Exhibit at the Aria and her favorite comic, Josh Sneed at Brad Garrett’s comedy club. We had a meet and greet with Josh which was the highlight of the trip. Watching Josh’s Drybar Special over and over on TV helped Pam get through some difficult days and nights. Laughter helps heal.

We would use the money to help transition Pam’s retirement. We have operated a successful home bakery business (www.thebakerstouch.com)for the last 20 years.I bake and make the icing and Pam does all of the cake decorating. Since her bilateral mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, she has been suffering from post mastectomy nerve pain. It takes longer to decorate cakes because of the pain. Our goal is to retire when Pam is 62 and the extra money would help her meet this goal.
