Connect How did your love story begin?

Nautica and I met through a friend when we were 13. Right away I was hooked her smile, her laugh, the way we just clicked. For the next few years we flirted nonstop: group chats, teasing, finding excuses to hang out. I chased her the whole time because I always knew she was meant to be mine. At 16 we finally started dating, and these last two years have been the best of my life. She’s my best friend. What started as innocent flirting grew into something real and lasting. I’m so grateful for her.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory is our Valentine’s Day trip to Canada last year. We drove up to Ainsworth Hot Springs and stayed at this beautiful resort right by the lake. Soaking in the natural mineral pools under the stars, surrounded by snow-covered mountains, felt like a dream. We laughed, relaxed, and just enjoyed being together away from everything. It was the perfect mix of adventure and romance cooking simple meals in our room, watching the sunrise, and making new memories in a place we’d never been

What would you do with $20,000?

If Nautica and I won $20,000, we’d split it 10k each. With my half, I’d buy a reliable car so I can commute easier to WSU for college something fuel-efficient that handles the northeast Washington roads better. With her half, we’d probably use it for fun stuff like trips, updating our cooking setup, or saving for our future. We’d make sure to do something special together too. It would be a huge help and a lot of fun!
