People ask us when we knew we were meant for each other. For us it was September 2023. We were best friends attending Aimee’s high school reunion, when a situation left her feeling anxious and uncomfortable. While others carried on with the evening, I chose to leave with her and we spent hours talking at a late night restaurant. That night we realized we had become each other’s safe place. The rest is our love story.

We have several beautiful memories together, but one of our favorites is when Aimee fulfilled one of my lifelong dreams of flying a plane. She gifted me a 1 hour plane ride in a Cirrus SR plane over Hollywood, Universal Studios, and Santa Monica Beach, where I got to fly the plane and land it alongside an actual licensed pilot, while Aimee sat in the back and enjoyed the views. It was amazing sharing in the excitement and dream together. After we ended the night with a beautiful dinner date.

We bought a starter home as a newly married couple so we would use half of it to do our backyard, install shutters on all the windows, paint, and add much design and character to the house. The other 10,000 would be used towards fulfilling our dream of adopting our first child. As a couple we are unable to have children of our own.
