Our story started at Mooncloud, a cocktail bar in Great Barrington. What was supposed to be one drink turned into three hours of conversation over just two cocktails (thank goodness the staff let us stay!). The next day, I couldn’t wait to see Adrian again, so we watched Jumanji. From that moment on, spending time together just felt easy, and we’ve been choosing each other ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Choosing one memory is impossible because our favorite thing is simply exploring together. Adrian grew up in a small town in Ohio, and I’m from Connecticut, so discovering the Berkshires has become our shared adventure. Whether we’re taking walks, finding a hidden restaurant, browsing thrift stores, or wandering into a local event, every outing reminds us that the best part isn’t the destination. It’s being together that counts!
What would you do with $20,000?Our dream is to open an independent book and record store in Housatonic. I’d curate the books, Adrian would curate the music, and together we’d create a welcoming space where neighbors could discover new stories, great albums, and connect with one another. More than a shop, we hope it becomes a place where community, creativity, and curiosity come together.
