In highschool! I (Nick) was a socially awkward, overweight, anxious kid who fell in love with Beth (yes, a blonde cheerleader, who I felt was so far out of my league that I never stood a chance). In a bout of courage (which I’m not sure where it came from) I asked her out. She said no. Of course she said no. Why would she say yes. Until eventually, after me not giving up, she said yes! The rest is history. 17 years later we are engaged and have a son together!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The birth of our beautiful son, Cooper. Proposing at Rockefeller Center. All of the happy memories of firsts. First steps. First dates. First vacations. We proved EVERYBODY wrong! We made the impossible happen. The fat nerd and the blonde cheerleader. (How cliche is that.)
