I was working at a restaurant bar and Nick walked in one day to have lunch with his mom. He was new to the area, in the Navy, and had just started his nursing career at Walter Reed in Bethesda. I saw him, and immediately asked to take the table. We shared a few looks but that was all, and when he walked out that day I was sure I’d never see him again. To my delight, he walked back into my bar the following night, in jeans and a black tee with a book tucked under his arm. I was in love.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It would have to be welcoming our baby girl at the Naval hospital that my husband worked at, the same hospital that we had gotten married in the little chapel the year before.
What would you do with $20,000?Pay off some debt, and breathe a little easier since we are an active duty, one income household with two little kids and my husband through a very demanding school program. My car isn’t running great, so I’d love to use some of that to get it fixed so it’s safer for my kids
