We know tomorrow is never promised. So every day is a celebration, a chance to live and love passionately! Each challenge faced hand in hand
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
Well, we actually have had 2 beginnings. We first met 30 years ago in college, had an instant attraction and dated briefly but it didn't go any further then. I settled down with our other friend and Woody was at our wedding! Then we lost touch for almost 20 years. Our 2nd beginning starts with an end. When my husband passed away his best friend tracked down Woody. He came out immediately and 4 years later we had our first offical date. After that, it was a whirlwind to our own wedding!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? It could be one of our college stories, our proposal at The Cure concert, or the amazing trips we've taken. But, it's definitely our first date after we reconnected. We rented a hotel at the Jersey shore and had dinner on the water. We barely ate, drank, or slept ;) and realized something had been reignited. It was euphoric, and after being in a place where we both felt lonely, like our best years were behind us, that was a great space to be in. It's always our touchstone moving forward.
What would you do with $20,000?That's easy, some of it to pay off wedding expenses and some to invest in our home that we absolutely love and share with friends and family. Whatever is left would go into our travel fund that allows us to live the adventure!
