I got swooped from another guy after nonstop DMs 😂 Six years later: a dog, a baby, hard times, and still choosing each other every day.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We met at work in 2021 and I was completely convinced Nathan was older, married, and had kids because he looked way too grown up for me. Plot twist: he was only 25 and very much single. He was cute, fit, and persistent enough to nonstop message me on Instagram until I finally gave him a chance. One date later, I realized the guy I accidentally judged was actually the sweetest gentleman opening doors, making me laugh, never pushy, and making me feel comfortable from day one. Best plot twist ever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of our favorite memories together was our trip to Silverwood. We spent the drive singing every song that came on, and I completely shocked my husband because I somehow knew every single word. I still remember him looking at me like, “Wait… how do you know all of these?” He says that was the moment he knew he wanted to marry me and honestly I think that makes the memory even sweeter.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won $20,000, I’d first donate a little to our local NICU because our son was a NICU baby after I had a complicated pregnancy. That place and the people there will always mean so much to us. We’d use some to pay off debt and buy our son clothes because he’s grown out of almost everything already. Mostly, it would give us breathing room. We still probably wouldn’t be able to buy a house, but we could stop living so paycheck to paycheck, afford groceries and our son’s essentials.
