It turns out even though we met as penpals we were both from same-ish area & had been on competing high school swimming teams. After writing for some time during my deployment, I met Nicole on my 2 week leave from Iraq. As we got to know each other more, we were inseparable. Funny enough, it’s when we went swimming in Lake Superior together one day early in our friendship we both knew we would marry each other. Neither knew the other though this until talking years later.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s impossible to choose, of course big moments like getting married, traveling the country, our active duty time, 5 children being born, learning things like scuba diving together. Starting a buisness together. But it’s ever small thing too and all the ups downs we have shared for so long now. Theres not enough space on this forum to mention all. For just regular people, our lives have been blessed and extraordinary
What would you do with $20,000?Probably either save it or take the honeymoon we have yet to take in 17 years, lol. Either way we would just be appreciative.
