We're a great couple because we actively listen to each other. We compromise when we need to and we love each other.

Funny enough, we were both living in Iowa and we matched on a dating site. On the first date, it was going pretty well and Amanda stated she wanted to move back to California at some point. I grew up on a farm in Iowa, so I have never lived outside the state. After a few years, we moved to California, got hitched in Santa Barbara and the rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we were married, it was late 2021 so Covid restrictions were still in place. We didn't end up taking our honeymoon until 2025. We traveled to Istanbul for a few days and then spent another week and a half in Greece visiting Naxos, Santorini and Athens. It was a trip of a lifetime.
What would you do with $20,000?We would probably use that $20,000 to help with a down payment on our future house.
