Connect How did your love story begin?

People say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Natalie ignored the memo. She walked into a Las Vegas piano bar on vacation from Australia and somehow left with a cheeky pianist. Patrick was entertaining the crowd when a simple, “Hi, I’m Patrick, nice to meet you,” turned a holiday into a lifetime. Considering Natalie’s singing should be contained to the shower for public safety, it’s safe to say opposites attract!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our wedding day—not because everything went perfectly, but because nothing did! It poured rain, our car broke down, we were running late, and our Uber got stuck in traffic. To top it off, neither of us are great passengers, and we both got incredibly carsick. Drenched and fighting the urge to throw up, we looked at each other and started laughing. None of it mattered. We were getting married, and we knew we could handle anything together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d split the prize money between supporting charities we love, including For Goodness Cakes, where Natalie volunteers baking birthday cakes for children in foster care and other young people facing difficult circumstances, and funding the belated honeymoon we haven’t had yet. Somewhere our senior pugs, Nina and Polly, can join us. They recently arrived in the US from Australia to join us on all our adventures!
