How did your love story begin?

I was 18 he was 26. Fresh from high school, he was fresh from jail. I never knew the outside world, but what was going on in my inside world was painful every day. One day I cried to my mother and told her I was over life, he happened to be there, and this giant bear who seemed intimidating reached out open arms and said, "do you need a hug". No one had ever saw me or carried enough to ask in my 18 years of existing, but this man did. He threw out a life raft and saved me.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have been homeless together, during those years I have to say every tear he wiped, every time we fought, and held each other; the not quitting the not giving up. Those are my happiest moments when we had nothing but gained everything. I will say the best memory is when we were on a backroad and found out we were pregnant. We were listening to music, windows down drinking little miniature barefoot wines, and next thing you know I threw up my sip, and the wind carried it to the backseat Haha

What would you do with $20,000?

I want to start an account for our son and start it off with 5,000. And honestly invest in our family. There is so much that we are lacking but maintaining day to day life. I want my son to have a stable bed in his room, clothes he can fit and shoes that do not look worn out. He deserves a better car then one where we don't know if today it will start. I am in school trying to get my degrees to be an attorney and it has just been hard trying to get to the end of the road, but we are pressing.
