Shane answered an ad in The Stranger, a community news paper in Seattle. It's October 2000. The Love Labs feature in the Stranger had a system that let you leave messages for each other on the phone. We spoke on the phone and decided to meet and go to dinner.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our biggest adventures was a trip to Orlando, Florida. We went to all 4 Disney parks in 3 days, and spent a day at Universal Studio. From the Dinosaurs to the the time-share sales pitch, we had quite an adventure. We enjoyed The Little Mermaid production, Star Tours and Indiana Jones, Epcot and The Amboniable Snowman and the Marvel Superhero Island at Univetsal Studio. We put most of it on a credit card, and I'm glad we did it when could. We'd never have the energy to do that all now!
What would you do with $20,000?Pay off that Disney debt....just kidding! We like spending time in Desert Hot Springs, CA with family and visiting my Dad in Spokane, WA. We would like to do some re-modelling in our kitchen. I'm not sure. We will do a lot with that money.
