Our love story began as a match made in heaven (on Hinge). A close friend convinced Mykena to change her Hinge profile to girls and Ky was the first to send her a like. Our first date was at a concert followed by a movie two and a half years ago, and we’ve been singing songs and sitting next to each other in every theater ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Roadtripping. Your relationship will never be more tested than when you’re sat in a car with each other for 15+ hours at a time. The adrenaline of driving overnight and keeping each other awake with 1am car karaoke brought us even closer together. Not to mention the multiple hours filled by “what would you do if” conversations and endless games of “never have I ever” really sealed the deal. We learned we are meant to be on our first roadtrip.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use a portion of the money to travel to the Amalfi Coast, which is where we hope to get married one day. We’d be able to scout out the perfect location and picture how beautiful our future will really be. Then, we would love to donate the remainder to various LGBTQ+ foundations and organizations across the United States to help others feel supported enough to find their happy ending too!
