They met in 1980 at a softball game. Bruce tried chatting her up and offered her a ride on his motorcycle, which she declined, but her sister who was with her, talked her into it. It wasn’t love at first sight—as Liz thought he looked like Howard Sprague from The Andy Griffith Show and that he was too old for her 19 year old self. As the evening went on, and everyone was hanging out, he made her laugh… a lot. A very good sign.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?They have survived much and had many celebrations, but the many beautiful sunsets they have shared—From a rooftop in Puerto Vallarta to the hill near the lake at our cabin, to the sunsets through the trees off their deck. All are so precious.
What would you do with $20,000?Take a cruise along the coast of Italy, watch the incredible sunsets and fall in love all over again. ❤️
