We came into each other's life unexpectedly, but when we needed each other most. We are interfaith, at a time where the world needs it most.

We met by chance and quickly felt there was something more. From the start, we noticed small signs from God that seemed to guide our story. After a run in the park, I stopped for my first boba tea at the small shop he owned, with no idea what to order. There were no dramatic sparks, just a quiet sense of peace. What began as a simple moment grew into a love deeper than we ever imagined and the greatest blessing of our lives.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?After only a month of knowing each other, we took an impromptu trip to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Looking back, bringing him to my family’s cabin so soon was probably a bold choice, but it’s become one of our favorite stories. We often joke that somewhere between the long drive and lake views, we truly fell in love. In a divided world, our connectedness is proof that respect and compassion still exist. We hope to be an example of this in our daily lives.
What would you do with $20,000?Due to supply chain challenges and other unforeseen circumstances, Mursalin has had to transition into a new career. At the same time, I will be beginning a PhD program this fall. As we prepare for these major life changes, we are hoping to celebrate our wedding before the school year begins. Any support would be a tremendous relief and would help us toward our wedding on August 9, 2026.
