Mercer is an electric guitar player in a NYC indie rock band called Savoia. I saw him playing one day at Drom in the East Village and thought, hm the guitar player is very cute. fast forward to a different event few months later, I saw Savoia again and thought the same thing. I could tell he was mysterious and a bit shy and I am NOT so I went up to him twirling my hair and said, hey what’s your bands name. he went very wide eyed and said wow you are so beautiful. 3 years later and here we are!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first date at Ornithology , a jazz club in Brooklyn was very special. also, camping in Cape May. Mercer does not like camping and it was sweltering hot but it was all we could afford. We stayed at the beach for hours watching the sunset , listening to music, playing chess, and swimming in the ocean it was not perfect but it was wonderful to escape the city and be together
What would you do with $20,000?We would use some of the money to travel. Mercer is a student and a musician and I am an Assistant buyer at Macy’s so we don’t always have the funds to go away together (hence the camping). Whatever is left over we would save towards an apartment to live together.
