“Over 20 years ago, I met a man online who would become my best friend, my husband, and my greatest partner in life. For 15 years of marriage, we’ve stood hand in hand through sickness and health, heartbreak and healing, raising our daughters, building businesses, and keeping God at the center of our home. Our love story isn’t about being perfect—it’s about never giving up. From Harlem to where we are today, we’ve learned that real love is a choice you make every day.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

On May 21, 2024, John and I were in the fight of our lives. I had just recovered from a serious illness, and anxiety still followed me everywhere. We escaped to the beach, not dressed up, just grateful to be together. As we sat by the water, he made me feel safe when I needed it most. We both needed that moment. No fancy clothes, no big plans—just love, faith, healing, and gratitude. That day reminded us that together, we can overcome anything. ❤️

What would you do with $20,000?

If we win the $20,000, we would finally take the Disney World vacation our family lost in 2023. Our youngest daughter was graduating 5th grade, our oldest was graduating college, and we had everything planned. Then I became critically ill and nearly lost my life. What should have been a celebration became trauma for our family. This gift would help us create joyful memories together and allow us to invest the remaining funds in our youngest daughter’s college education.
