Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story started with tacos and a snickerdoodle. We met on Bumble, and I honestly didn’t know anything about hypnosis when we first talked. I just remember leaving that date thinking, “Well… I’ve never met anyone like him before,” and realizing he might actually be more eccentric than me. I was an opera singer working in technology, and he was building Doc Hypnosis after years of working as a professional clown through college. We got married on Leap Day 2024.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories as a couple is launching our radio show (Hypno Life) and realizing we were really building something bigger than just the two of us. Opening the expanded Doc Hypnosis Wellness Center was another unforgettable moment, seeing a dream turn into a larger physical space where people could heal. And then there’s Phantasmagorical, our variety medicine show, which felt like pure magic we created together from imagination, laughter, and love.

What would you do with $20,000?

Our plan with the $20K is to honor both our love story and our shared purpose. We would use part of it for a restorative honeymoon as a couple, time to reconnect, reset, and reflect on everything we’re building together. The remainder would seed an “Angel Fund” through Soul Echo Therapy and Doc Hypnosis, offering support for PTSD and trauma survivors who cannot afford care. What we receive in love and life, we want to pass forward into healing for others.
