Connect How did your love story begin?

We met online, Facebook dating of all apps. Met for dinner and I honestly wasn't expecting a second date. I didn't think we hit it off very well, he went in for a kiss after which I don't like to do on first dates. But we continued messaging and I decided to give a second date a chance when he asked. I can be hard to get to know and let my guard down, but he was patient and accepted me for me. We both have our quirks but we make it work!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Camping at the beach. I love going to the beach in general, but going with him makes it so much more enjoyable and special. We also bought a "passport" book of national parks and monuments to collect "stamps" as we visit. So I am looking forward to visiting all of those places together to fill up our passport!

What would you do with $20,000?

After our first year together, we decided to take on a huge project. My father had passed the year prior and my sister and I had been cleaning and figuring out what to do with his house (hoarding situation). Well we bought my sister out and the house became ours and we have been renovating it since! A house renovation after just a year of dating is crazy! But we are now engaged and soon to be married (9/15/26) and the money would be nice to put towards the house renovation.
