Lauren was a stylist when Mason started working at the same salon as a barber. They dated in secret for 6 months. Now unlimited adventures!
We would like to thank you for supporting Moose and Lo in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met when we worked for the same salon in Chicago. Mason was a barber, Lauren was a stylist. We agreed to remain friends and keep everything professional. Eventually, the feelings won out. It was the annual salon party where sparks flew. We dated in secret for six months before sharing the relationship publicly. After 2 years of marriage, we decided to both go back to school. Lauren got her degree in business and economics and Mason is a firefighter and paramedic.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We have so many stories from working together, concerts, camping, apple picking, brewery hopping, haunted houses, family events, road trips, and international travels! We took a trip to Mexico City’s Xochimilco Market. One of the vendors hoping from boat to boat was selling jewelry. We had gotten engaged the month before. Lauren helped Mason pick out a ring and then she proposed to Mason in front of the whole market! Everyone chanting, “BESO! BESO!” Everybody cheered when we kissed!
What would you do with $20,000?There are so many opportunities with $20,000! Mason would want to use the money to make Lauren’s dream bathroom and closet. It would be amazing to make our master suite our own luxurious escape to pamper ourselves, relax, and rejuvenate.
