Our story began at a Jersey Shore beach house after Memorial Day weekend. Out of 19 friends, only the 2 of us stayed an extra day. We spent hours talking, laughing, and discovering how much we enjoyed each other's company. Before leaving, we made a pact to meet once a week in North Jersey and do something fun together. That simple promise became the foundation of our relationship. 36 years later, we are still having fun together.

Choosing 1 favorite memory is almost impossible after 38 years, 3 children, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, college graduations, and our son's wedding in Argentina. But one memory stands out: moving into the unfinished house Michael was building for our future family and us. He surprised me with my own tool belt, and we took 5 weeks off to finish it together. We slept on the floor, worked side by side every day, and loved every minute of creating our home together.

We would donate the entire $20,000 to the Alzheimer's Association. Michael's father battled Alzheimer's and we witnessed firsthand the heartbreak this disease causes for patients and their families. The progress being made in research gives us hope, and we would be honored to help support the scientists, caregivers, and organizations working tirelessly toward better treatment and ultimately a cure.
