I was 18, he was 20. We were young and wild. We met at a casual poker game through mutual coworkers (his friend, my coworker). He was a super cute, SUPER awkward guy who couldn't even look at me. So of course I wanted him. I fell in love and somehow convinced him to drive me home. Months of drives home, 3 hour detours where we talked about everything until we couldn't stay awake, and eventually we gave it an honest go. Young, silly, and oh so nerdy. And we still are, 19 years and still going!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Aside from the births of our kids (both are their own stories), I'd say Covid era traveling. We grabbed an RV and hit the road, safely and with buckets of memories. We had been young and broke when we had first started dating, but during those months of 2020 we had each other and all the time in the world. It was incredible to be with my best friend. Camp fires, open roads, and the crew. You should check out the hot springs in Idaho!
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly? Put it towards the kids education (and maybe a little vacation for Mitchell and I). We didn't do a honeymoon as it just wasn't within budget. And we've never been anywhere tropical, so that's been a dream of ours.
