How did your love story begin?

Our love story started with a swipe in March 2017, but bad timing kept us apart. I was finishing college while working two jobs, and Morgan wisely refused to date someone that busy. Months later, after graduation and a new career, I invited her to celebrate over dinner. She said yes, and at Yucatan Taco Stand in Fort Worth we had our last first date. Nearly eight years later, we're still grateful that patience, persistence, and tacos brought us together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

As former college soccer players, one of our favorite memories was watching our beloved Seattle Sounders play in Austin. Surrounded by an incredible atmosphere, we watched a young Sounders squad pull off a 1-0 win with a stunning long-range goal from Raúl Ruidíaz. After the match, we met the players, and Coach Brian Schmetzer even pulled me in for a celebratory dap—captured on the Sounders' Instagram! It perfectly blended our love for each other and the game.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won $20,000, we'd take our family—Morgan, Sutton, Kaden, and me—to Japan. I was fortunate to live there for six years, and it's a place that forever changed my perspective on the world. Sharing its culture, seeing Mt. Fuji, exploring Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, and watching our kids experience it all would be priceless. We'd come home with more than souvenirs, we'd bring back memories our family would cherish forever.
