We had known eachother for a while through the music and art scene. Mo moved back to omaha and was playing the fest Mike always created the art for. He was pointing at a slab of concrete behind Mo but she thought he was pointing at her, and pointed back. They didn’t get the chance to talk at the show but ran into eachother the next night at the bar- where they both were going to see a mutual friend. They hit it off that night and started talking about pickled eggs and how they should sell them!

We both love that night where we were at the bar talking about pickled eggs because we were laughing our asses off and had so much fun. Mike always talks about how he hadn’t laughed that hard in a while and Mo even fell out of her seat that night. He wasn’t sure if Mo reciprocated feelings until she emailed, texted, and insta gram messaged him about the pickled eggs business. We love our start because both people felt this was special and different.

We would love to go on a trip or put it towards a down payment of a house but realistically- we will probably pay off our debts. We both work a lot of jobs at once and to get to a decent place financially would feel amazing. Maybe then Mo could quit some of her jobs and Mike could focus more on his art. We have a goal writing a children’s book together and perhaps we could focus on that with the money we have left over. I would say we would start a pickled eggs business but we have a ways to go!
