Coming out of divorces and raising our own adult children, we found a shared appreciation for family that became the foundation of our relationship. We first connected through a dating site over our mutual love of family, travel, shared values, and SPORTS. Despite the distance between us (3 hours each way!) and our rival football loyalties (Mary is a Bears fan and Mike is a Packers fan!!)—those differences only add to the fun, excitement, and connection we share.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One recent memory is our August ‘26 adventure in Poland exploring a beautiful country, taking in the culture, and tasting the unique regional food and drink. Truly creating even more memorable moments together…as best friends!! “It doesn't matter where you go...it's WHO you go with that matters!".
What would you do with $20,000?We are both at the point in our lives where retirement is in the not-so-distant future so being able to plan for trips together and co-budget for what we enjoy doing will remain a priority. We also enjoy and value community building and see this as an opportunity to give back to our communities through donating money within volunteer organizations and homeless shelters. It would be great to invest in the future "us" and also our communities!
