Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began with an act of kindness. Fifteen years ago, after my divorce, I needed a roommate, and Mike, my sergeant at the time, needed a place to stay. One unexpected decision turned into 15 years of love, laughter, family, and a life we never imagined we'd build together. Today, we're still writing our favorite chapter, one scene at a time, and we'd love to share the journey with you.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite vacation is cruising to beautiful islands and unplugging from the demands of everyday life. We love exploring new places, soaking in nature's beauty, breathing the fresh ocean air, and spending our days with no agenda except making memories together. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones where time slows down and we simply enjoy each other's company.

What would you do with $20,000?

We'd invest in film equipment to build a community production crew where aspiring creators can gain hands-on experience and production credits. We'd also help local family-owned businesses with affordable promotional videos, buy a reliable used SUV to transport gear, and finish our home studio so it can continue hosting meetings, workshops, and filming. We want to create opportunities, not just content.
