Our story began in the restaurant industry, Aimee a waitress, Mike a cook. We grew up in different worlds but kept crossing paths for over 30yrs...at church service, church functions, or randomly in public. Finally, we both found ourselves single because of life's circumstances. Aimee was newly divorced and got a job at the restaurant Mike had been working in for several years. So the restaurant industry had brought us together again. We were married on 5-25-25.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have so many that we remember and think of often and cherish. But our favorite is definitely our wedding and honeymoon. Our wedding was a beautiful fairytale, right in our own backyard. Our honeymoon was filled with 6 days of car camping, and driving thousands of miles through 10 states. We swam in the ocean and saw sights neither of us had seen before. It is truly one of our fondest memories together.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to visit the places we didn't on our honeymoon, because we couldn't afford it. We would travel west this time, Hawaii at the top of the list, then Alaska before we head back home. Mike would fish all the spots while Aimee bathed in the sun.
