After 16 years we are still committed to taking care of each other every single day. We put forth effort to grow our relationship forward.

Our love story began over exercise. I was managing a private corporate fitness center in the financial district of NYC and he was a member of the facility. We began talking and I invited him to join me for boot camp workouts my friend hosted on the weekends. We bonded over the challenge of the workouts, then music, and then somewhere along the way I realized that he looked at me like I was the only person he could see. I felt like I was deeply cherished by a man for the first time in my life.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I was visiting Jamaica as a chiropractic student to serve the public along with a mentor that lived and practiced there. Mike contacted the doc without my knowledge and informed her that he wanted to propose to me whilst I was there. One evening at the close of a group meditation, I opened my eyes to find Mike kneeling in front of me with a ring and two dozen white roses. It was so surreal, all I could do was hold my face and cry. It was the most memorable, perfect moment for both of us.
What would you do with $20,000?We would most likely allocate part of the money for a special 10th wedding anniversary trip. We would also allocate some toward a renovation project on our incredible mid-century home.
