How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in 2018 as a coincidence, but it felt like something deeper from the start. The moment we met, we clicked instantly—like old souls recognizing each other again. We became best friends right away, laughing until we couldn’t breathe, and it felt like we already knew each other on a soul level. On May 24, 2018, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and it’s felt like we’ve been finding our way back to each other ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is buying our home in 2024. It came after years of struggling, my health issues, being doubted by family, and building everything on a single income while Patrick worked. We started with very little, but kept pushing forward. After months of searching, the last house felt like it chose us. Even small signs made it feel spiritually guided. It wasn’t just a purchase, it felt like proof we survived everything meant to break us.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use $20,000 to finally have breathing room we’ve never had before. We’ve spent years on one income, me having health struggles, and constant stress just trying to stay afloat. We’d finally get married! Take a real trip together; our only getaway was Washington Island here in Wisconsin, and it became a core memory, put money into our home so it feels more stable, and save the rest so we can finally feel secure instead of constantly surviving.
