We got engaged 6/7/26 after four years of nonstop laughter, loving glances and fun adventures together.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We matched on Tinder and bonded over our mutual love of films, Halloween and Star Trek. Our first date was at our favorite movie theater and it truly was love at first sight; we talked for hours and couldn't keep our eyes off each other, not even during the movie we paid to see. We sang karaoke together on the second date and we just knew that we were meant for each other since then. We still sing together every chance we get (when we're not watching movies, of course).
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?About a month into dating we took a scenic walk by the waterfront in Piermont, NY and it was a really foggy day. The path we were walking was desolate and we stopped to admire the view of the fog over the water. I played love songs on my phone, and we slow danced together and confessed our love for each other for the first time. I ended up proposing to her in the same spot just recently.
What would you do with $20,000?Now that we're newly engaged, we'd definitely put it towards our Halloween-themed wedding and honeymoon! Anything left over would likely be saved for a future home, paying off our student loans or sprucing up where we're living now. Or at the very least, renting out our favorite cinema for a private screening date!
