Connect How did your love story begin?

Donna and I met thru the University of Missouri computer network that linked all 4 campuses (UMR and UMC) before the Internet was a thing. A friend of a friend was dabbling with user compatibility and we both were invited to send in our likes to be matched with the top 10 participants for compatibility, yes it was a proto dating site without the URL. On an October day in 1989, I typed "Hello" to her computer id to start our lifelong relationship that is still going today.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory that we share as a couple would have to be the time when we left our first house late in the evening to go from being a couple to being a trio with the birth of our first of 3 children. It was a frantic and panic filled car ride as Donna remembers me hitting every bump in the road as if on purpose (it wasn't) to getting to the hospital in time for her to go thru 4 hours of the most life changing event we ever went thru together.

What would you do with $20,000?

If Donna and I were fortunate enough to win, there are many things we could spend the $20,000 on to make our current life easier. But if we were to use the money on something for only Donna and myself, I would think we would plan an all expense trip to Kauai to experience the natural beauty of the island and take our traditional feet picture with the year etched in the sand. (it is on our vacation bucket list, not just because Jurassic Park was filmed there, honest!)
