Connect How did your love story begin?

In 2014, I started working for my current company. Shortly after that I met the woman, Cindy, who is now my wife. But I was married at the time and she was in a relationship. Fast forward about 6 years and her man had left her. I felt sad and concerned for her but there wasn’t much I could do. A few months later I was facing divorce and Cindy was the last thing on my mind. A few days after signing the papers, she popped in my head one night. We never saw it coming. It all fell into place.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It’s tough to pinpoint one specific memory. We have done so much together and have many memories. Working together, we have seen many dreams come true. It’s simply everything that we have done. Just knowing that we were meant to be together and we have found our soulmate. We haven’t travelled the world or done a lot of things we would like to do, but we love to be together no matter where we go or what we do. Our love is very strong, and mutual. And we are free for once to be ourselves.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would split it for sure. We split our winnings in half. We don’t keep count and both do for each other. We have a little bit of debt but not bad. I would use mine to pay toward the considerably small debt we have, and keep $5000 for the down payment on the land next door that we want to buy. We have 2.8 acres and someday soon will be buying more land nearby and build a new house!
