We met 39 yrs ago in 1986, through mutual friends, at the Enlisted Club on Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio TX where I (Chevone) was stationed. Michael told his friend that he wanted to meet me. His friend told my friend, who then told me. I accepted the invite. We talked and danced the rest of the night, and, so the love story began.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?A favorite is when we were missionaries in Italy and Michael needed to travel for mission work, but he hadn’t raked up the yard leaves like he’d promised. The next morning while he was in his usual morning prayer, a windstorm blew all the leaves over the fence into the field. When Michael realized what had occurred he told Chevone “God has taken care of the yard!” She laughed and said “God is always getting you out of trouble!" Needless to say, he left for that trip the next day.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the money to take a trip back to Italy and to help remodel our master bathroom shower to be more “senior safe and friendly".
