My husband and I have been dating since 8th grade! We became teen parents at sixteen and have created a beautiful life for our 6 kids.

We grew up together in the same neighborhood with the same friends. I liked him since preschool… shhh! He didn’t like me very much! The summer before 8th grade he had one of his friends ask me out for him! And the rest has become history! We started dating that summer and have been together for almost 20 years! We became parents at 16 and it created a motivation to do better for ourselves. My husband joined the military and I started my career in health care!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory is our first out of state vacation with our first three children! It was the first time we were able to travel and experience a new environment with our children. We watched our son play in an amazing tournament for baseball and see the beautiful state of Tennessee! My children still talk about it to this day!
What would you do with $20,000?With that money we would be able to plan a trip for me and my husband to experience a honeymoon! We were married in a courthouse and then he deployed two weeks later to Guantanamo bay for a year. We never got the moment to enjoy a vacation with just me and him! We always try to but the reality of working full time and being able to arrange child care for all kiddos it makes that dream very difficult!
