Connect How did your love story begin?

We met during the first week of freshman year when we had class together. A few days into the semester, Stone saw Mia struggling to open her mailbox, so he offered to help, something that came full circle years later when we got married at the Old Post Office in Chicago. From there, we started walking to class together, talking every day, and spending more time together through formals, late-night conversations, and college memories that turned into a lifetime together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

While our wedding in September 2025 was the best day of our lives, one of our favorite memories was picking up our dog, Wells. It felt like the beginning of our little family and gave us the chance to learn how to care for and raise something together. From the first car ride home to all the everyday moments since, Wells has brought so much love, laughter, and happiness into our lives.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the $20,000 to continue building our future together. Part of it would go toward a down payment on our first home, while the rest would be used to create more memories through travel, experiences, and spoiling our dog, Wells. Most importantly, it would help us continue building a life centered around family, love, and the future we are creating together.
