Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began 15 years ago in a hair salon where I worked as a stylist. Fresh out of a heartbreaking 10-year relationship, I wasn’t looking for love. A coworker convinced me to give Danny my number, and despite my hesitation, he was seven years older than me, I agreed to a movie date. I quickly fell for his charm and kindness. Through every challenge, we’ve chosen each other.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory as a couple is one born from heartbreak. On our 15th anniversary, we learned our first baby together no longer had a heartbeat. It was the hardest moment of our lives, yet Danny became my rock. Even through his own grief, he cared for me with unwavering love, strength, and compassion. The way he carried us through that loss deepened my love and appreciation for him. Through heartbreak, our bond became stronger than ever.

What would you do with $20,000?

Winning $20,000 would give us the opportunity to focus on the future we’ve been building together for the past 15 years. We would put a portion into savings, make some updates to our home, and finally have the simple, intimate wedding we’ve always dreamed of. We would also use some of the money to take a much-needed vacation or honeymoon; something we haven’t been able to do in a very long time. After everything, it would be a chance to celebrate our love, heal, and create new memories together.
