Our story began with a simple "hi" at a leadership conference. Years of friendship became love when Gerald flew through eight canceled flights just to say, "I need to see you." Later, we got engaged in our living room with our dog, Mika, as our witness, then married in an intimate pandemic ceremony after being reminded, "You can't postpone love." Since then, we've chosen each other through every season, including cancer, proving love grows strongest together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is our 1st wedding day. When COVID canceled our 200-person celebration, our family reminded us, "You can't postpone love." So we married in Melanie's childhood home with our parents, our flower dog Mika, a homemade wedding cake, handcrafted flowers, and loved ones cheering us on through FaceTime. It wasn't the wedding we planned… it was even better.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won $20,000, we'd continue building our son’s August’s education fund and invest in his future. As parents, our greatest dream is to give him every opportunity to learn, grow, and chase whatever inspires him. Winning would be more than a financial blessing—it would be an investment in the next chapter of our family's story.
