We said we were just friends multiple times. But then one night our friendship ignited something more. Love is friendship caught on fire.
We would like to thank you for supporting Meghan and Cobin in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We started as friends for almost 6 months. “Just friends” we told ourselves multiple times. After going to hockey game together as friends, we went to a mutual friends birthday outing and we found ourselves checking in with each other to make sure the other person was having fun. When we moved to a second location, things changed. We don’t know if it was the loud music, the dancing, the lights flashing. But we were looking at each other differently, and we shared a kiss that sealed our fates.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Honestly our first Christmas together. It was not long after we had started dating. I had told him one night that I wanted to go home after spending time with him so I could play video games. He said I could just play games there. So, obviously, I ended up spending more time at his house and for Christmas he said he had a surprise for me. The surprise was a drawer in his dresser that he had cleaned out for me and wrapped it in a bow.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put that money toward buying our next home. We are in the process of uprooting and changing everything about our lives so that we can live a happier life for each other. That includes buying a new house in a city where we can thrive and plan our future together.
