How did your love story begin?

Our story started at a speed dating event. I showed up as a volunteer only to find the event organizer/friend had other plans for me to join in. Tiffany was looking to get out of the house. We were the last person either of us met that night. The moment muted. It was just the two of us in it. Tiffany was light in human form. Soon after, I did my Irish goodbye. Tiffany tracked me down a week later. Not long after a very long date, we were together. Proof when you meet your person you'll know it.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I was a single mom and my house was a testament to it. Tiffany and I had been dating for about 3 months by this particular night. I went upstairs and put my son, Connor, to bed. Then I came to downstairs to say goodnight to Tiffany (hoping she'd stuck around). I found her in my laundry room on her knees, yellow rubber gloves on, and cleaning the moldy rubber seal in my washer. I burst into tears seeing her love me even with my mess. We both cried. Tiffany asked me to marry her on the spot.

What would you do with $20,000?

Tiffany and I love creating memories, which is why we purposefully carve out time to travel. Traveling together helped us grow as a couple. Helped us understand each other better. Plus, it's really fun when you're in your forties and you still find new things to experience together! Tiffany has always wanted to visit Greece and I have always wanted to visit Italy (I'm approx. 97% pasta in human form). So...we'd like to do a Mediterranean trip and take our family along with us.
