How did your love story begin?

Our love story started with something simple—deep-fried pickles. We worked together, and on Sarah’s birthday I took her out and bought her an order of fried pickles. Neither of us knew that one small gesture would change our lives forever. From that night on, our friendship grew into an incredible love story. We’ve built a beautiful life together, raised four amazing kids, and through every challenge and celebration, she’s remained my best friend and the love of my life.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory with Sarah is the day I proposed. It was a big surprise—her parents invited her over for dinner because I had to work, and when she arrived, I came around the corner, got down on one knee, and forgot every word I had rehearsed. All I could manage was, “Will you marry me?” She laughed, cried, and said yes before I could even stand up. I’ll never forget the look on her face, the happy tears, or the way the whole room seemed to light up with joy. I still smile.

What would you do with $20,000?

If Sarah and I won $20,000, we’d probably use it to pay off some bills first and put a good chunk into savings. After that, we’d set aside a little for something fun, like a weekend trip or a nice dinner together, probably order some deep fried pickles haha because we’d want to celebrate in a way that feels special. We’d also probably help out family if we could and make sure the money went toward something that would make our lives a little easier and more secure.
