Connect How did your love story begin?

​Our story started in the most unexpected place: a haunted schoolhouse, surrounded by people just trying to help us survive and thrive. We both came into it feeling a little hurt and bitter from the past, but we unexpectedly found each other. Our first real adventure was a trip to the local races. I reached down, untied his shoelace to get his attention, and well... here we are! We turned a spooky start into a lifetime of racing, camping, and laughing together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

​Hands down, our camping trips! They always turn into the best adventures. Our absolute favorites include waking up to a literal gang of raccoons staging a heist outside our tent, and the time we ended up sleeping on an air mattress stuffed into the back of our car, drifting off to the peaceful crashing waves of Lake Michigan. We love the chaos, the laughs, and the fact that we can tackle any wild situation as a team!

What would you do with $20,000?

​We would hit the open road for the ultimate cross-country honeymoon! We want to fund a dream road trip through the Badlands and explore the country's most beautiful landscapes together. We’ve made our absolute best memories while camping (including sleeping on a car air mattress to the sounds of Lake Michigan!). No matter where the map takes us, we always say, "we'll figure it out," and "we always do." This prize buys a lot of campfires, open roads, and a lifetime of memories!
