How did your love story begin?

Last March we reconnected on Facebook, talking about everything that we’ve each gone through in the last 20 years. He told me that he spent so many years looking for me, showed me his search history and there I was, but I had moved away with family and wasn’t on social media. But since then, we’ve almost been together every day since. He is the one person that has made my heart full and safe.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When we decided that we were going to downsize both our lives, bring everything together and save to buy our dream home together! Matt always tells me some of his fondest memories of us was in the back of the classroom and every conversation we ever had (which he remembers most of them which blows my mind). We have a connection that goes beyond everything either of us has known in the last 24 years and it’s electric and beautiful.

What would you do with $20,000?

When we talk about our dream home, we want to buy a school bus and build it out ourselves to be our beautiful home on wheels that will allow us to travel the country and do what we always talk about! Just being together with our five adorable cats in our home on wheels and the country as our backyard. I am disabled (I don’t like to talk about it) and he bends over backwards to take care of me on my worst and best days, I would love this for him.
