Connect How did your love story begin?

Matt: A friend once said Disney ruined us, that real love didn't exist anymore. So, I created the 11-day rule to prove it did- dating with intention & without wasting anyone's time. Then I met HER. I was working an event, Great Dane by my side. I asked who was that girl with the 'stern' face. Jess: I saw the dane first, then Matt. He slid into the bar & I slid him a shot of tequila. Six months later, we eloped in the south of France & honeymooned in a little shepherd's cottage in Mallorca.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Jess: All of them! We're storytellers & we've built a life that keeps giving us material. Magical forests, founding businesses, running from dogs down a Mexican beach- the basics. We don't just share memories, we hunt out adventure Matt: 1 month into marriage we were broke & I bought a Jeep without telling her. Her only condition for keeping it? Make it a Jurassic Park Jeep. Done! Weeks later, life found a way to move us across the country, Great Dane and Maine Coon in tow (our tiny dinosaurs).

What would you do with $20,000?

Matt: What we do with everything- invest in each other. I'm finishing my book, which starts with the 11-day rule. Jess is a screenwriter & aspiring filmmaker. Being creative isn't always easy on a budget and Jess keeps me motivated, one project at a time. Jess: We'd give ourselves the room to make something real with our art. And honestly, winning America's Favorite Couple on our 10 year anniversary (!!) & using it to fund creativity? That's a great story & a real gift. Vote for us! plz.
